Through the Regenerative Farm Network (RFN-NJ), funded by NRCS Equity in Conservation Cooperative Agreements, North Jersey RC&D will be offering a limited number of one-to-one technical assistance and consultations to RFN-NJ members.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and batch processed every 1-2 months.
Apply now to be considered for these four opportunities:
1. Farm Plan or Annual Farm Budget Preparation.
Up to 90% of consulting fees will be covered, with a cap of $1,800, to work with a consultant on a farm plan or annual farm budget.
2. Technical Assistance to Implement Conservation Practices
Up to $1,000 in consulting fees to work with a consultant for technical assistance towards conservation practices. You may use a consultant of your choice with NJ RC&D approval.
Examples of Technical Assistance:
Introducing single or multi-species cover cropping into your rotation.
Switching to no-till, roller-crimping, planting green, etc.
Implementing rotational grazing
3. Nutrient Management Planning
Up to $1,500 in consulting fees will be covered for nutrient management consultation services. You may use a consultant of your choice with NJ RC&D approval.

4. Soil testing (25 participants)
Up to $200 for soil testing fees and shipping costs.
Soil tests must include a biological assessment. Look for labs that run Haney tests, Solvita, or the Cornell Assessment of Soil Health.
Participants must collect and ship their own samples.
