RFN-NJ Farmer Network Tour: Duke Farms

New Update: Farmer Network Tour today! Get a look at NoFence collars in use on goats! Unfortunately Celia with NJ Audubon will be unable to join us so the tour focus will be focused on cow/calf herd management, genetics, and of course a sneak peak at NoFence collars!

Tour Description:  Join us for an RFN-NJ Farmer Network Tour led by Grazing Program Manager, Lauren Salvatore. Lauren will take us around the Duke Farms livestock operation that is focused first and foremost on conservation. She will discuss managing a cow/calf operation and ways to manage for grassland bird habitat. 

Celia Vuocolo of NJ Audubon will discuss programs available to farmers for grassland bird and wildlife habitat.

Bryce Cotton of Cotton Cattle Company will discuss grass-fed genetics and what it takes to produce great grass-fed beef.
